nice show in 2 parts essentially. desert storm is a bit long, and creedence suck, but apart from that the show was good. actually liked the jim o rourke. thanks for the Paul Simon. didnt know Eno had worked some magic.
Thanks Guys !!!
@Chenny Yes i am planning to cover something like that… it’s hard though to make it right when the weather is so bad… i tend to like to find those kinda jazzy warm songs that you can listen to while the rain hits the window, and your warm and safe inside with a hot whiskey or something… but ill see what i can do.
@Stimpee After seing Orbital in London this year i would have to agree with you that Desert Storm is a bit long, and most of their live show – they can get a little boring!!! Cant say im a huge fn of creedence but they did have a few amazingly catchy tunes over the years. The Paul Simon Album is called “Suprise” and it was indeed a suprise when you listen to the sound of it. Eno created what he called a “sonic Landscape” on the album and you can sort of see what he means when you listen to it. With Simon doing a great job with the lyrics and eno on the “Landscape” it really comes together nicely i think… that song being one of my favourite from the album.
