Coming from the pre-MTV era, I am used to listen to music without any videoclip available…
But sometimes the produced videos are also nice to see…
So this time I try to combine nice sounds with nice video

Sologroove

This episode is dedicated to the Slovakian Netlabel Sologroove.
Sologroove is a non-profit-making netlabel displaying musical and visual creations of Slovak artists especially.

It’s orientated in any variations of House and Techno, always looking for unreleased tracks
and artworks with a bright spirit and motivation.

So it doesn’t matter if you’re groovin’ in the bigband, quartet or solo,
you need a platform for emotional release.

Trying to give you a quick overview of this label, I put 24 tracks in 60 minutes…

These are the times of the year when one leaves home in the morning to go to work… still in the dark…
And when we come home… it’s dark again… This is the season of Darkness….
Of course only for those amongst us who live on the Northern Hemisphere…

But even songs that make you move… Move to get rid of this dark feeling…

The Blender

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: “A blender is a kitchen appliance for chopping or liquefying food.”
In musical terms I use it as an alternative word for “Mixer”.

This time it is not about mixing but it’s about re-mixing. Sometimes the remix of a song beats the original…
In this podcast only remixes… A great thing about them is the sometimes original name that is given…

And sometimes there are some remixes that really “get” me…
I have placed them in the beginning and end of this podcast.

It’s a special day today… One of the few dates in a persons life where the day, month and year are the same number…
Maybe I’m the only one that noticed it… Could be…

Besides that, this is a normal podcast… Just playing tracks that I’ve picked from my ever growing collection.
I even needed to buy a new hardrive to store it all… And more to come, I’m sure.

Next to the normal tracks also 2 tracks coming from 2 Netlabels that stopped their work this year.
Offaudio and Stadtgruenlabel… It’s a shame to see that not everything lasts forever.

Maybe in the future I will make a podcast that contains only “forgotten” netlabels… Until that day… Enjoy…

There are two main branches.
Bump side : techno and house, or based on them.

“Sascha Müller Pres. Säurebad Loves Acid Mix”

Sascha Müller aka Pharmacom start his career with djìng and producing in 1990. He was inspired by Projects like Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream and stuff like Sven Väth played in his dj sets. The musical style reaches from ambient chill out, house and techno music in his own special way. His way of producing is the use old analog equipment in the same way as the newest Software in digital producing. The
greatest thing for him is to create new soundcollagen and wicked samples for his tracks. As a Dj he played in several european locations and events like love parade and thunderdome. At the moment he is also playing as a vj and is involved in multimedia productions with some other global video and grafic artists.
